Saki AOKI

Saki Aoki est née à Tokyo en 1982. Elle a commencé l'étude du piano à l'âge de 6 ans, puis a fait le choix de se consacrer à l'orgue. Elle a étudié tout d'abord avec Keiko Utsumi puis a été admise sur concours à l'université Geidai (Université de Tokyo pour les Beaux-arts et de la Musique) dans la classe de Masaaki Suzuki. Elle y achève ses études en Février 2008 par l'obtention du diplôme terminal du cycle Master Class (perfectionnement interprétation) mention très bien avec félicitations.

Parallèlement Saki Aoki décide d'élargir et de diversifier son apprentissage en France où elle se perfectionne auprès d'Eric Lebrun et d'Erwan Le Prado. Elle obtient les plus hautes distinctions des conservatoires de Caen et de Saint-Maur des Fossés.

Saki Aoki s'est illustrée dans plusieurs concours internationaux: elle a notamment remporté le Diplôme d'Honneur du concours international d'orgue de Bruges, le 1er prix du concours international de Grenade, le 1er prix du concours Jean Louis Florentz à Angers en Mai 2007, le 2ème prix du concours international de Nürnberg en Juin 2007. Saki Aoki remporte en Septembre 2008 le Grand Prix de Chartres « Interprétation », le Prix du Public ainsi que le Prix spécial Gaston Litaiize lors du Concours International d'orgue de Chartres.

Sa carrière se développe dès lors très largement (Japon, France, Canada, Allemagne, Grande-Bretagne, Italie, Espagne, Amérique du Sud... ). Elle se produit dans des lieux de grande renommée tant en France qu'à l'étranger et poursuit une carrière internationale. Elle enregistre en 2010 un premier disque aux grandes orgues de la Cathédrale de Chartres dédié au répertoire français du 20ème siècle et obtient pendant deux ans le soutien du ministère de la culture japonais (« bunka-cho ») dans le cadre du programme de promotion des artistes japonais résidant à l'étranger.

Saki Aoki est aujourd'hui installée en Basse-Normandie; elle est co-titulaire des orgues Jean-François Dupont des églises Saint-Pierre et Saint-André à Caen.

Saki Aoki was born in Tokyo and began her piano studies at the age of six. She first studied organ under Keiko Utsumi, and then became a pupil of Masaaki Suzuki at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (Tokyo Geidai) where she obtained both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees with top honors. While still a graduate student, she decided to broaden and diversify her studies in France. For two years she studied in the Advanced Studies Program under Eric Lebrun at the St Maur Conservatory where she obtained the André Monsaingeon Prize and the J.S.Bach Prize for the best interpretation of a J. S. Bach work, as well as the 1st Prize in Organ with top honors in 2006.

She further enriched her studies as a pupil of Erwan Le Prado at the Conservatoire National de Région in Caen where she obtained the Advanced Studies Diploma with top honors.

During her studies she was able to distinguish herself in several international competitions, notably by winning the Diplôme d'honneur of the International Organ Competition in Bruges, 1st Prize in the Grenada International Competition, 1st Prize in the 2007 Jean Louis Florentz Competition in Angers, 2nd Prize in the 2007 Nürnberg International Competition, and the First Prize in interpretation, the Audience Award and the Gaston Litaize Special Prize in the 2008 Grand Prix de Chartres She is also the recipient of a two-year scholarship that is awarded to promote young artîsts from the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs

She has given numerous recitals in Japan, France, Germany, UK, Italy, Hungary, Spain and Canada. She has recently recorded a CD of French 20th century music in Chartres Cathedral. In addition to her extensive concert career, she is currently a teacher at th, Ecole de Musique de Saint Lô in Normandy, and serves as organist at the Saint Pierre an, Saint André churches in Caen.

Sie ist auch der Empfänger eines zweijährigen Stipendiums, die Auszeichnung für junge Künstler aus dem japanischen Amt für kulturelle Angelegenheiten zu fördern ist.

Sie hat zahlreiche Recitals in Japan, Frankreich, Deutschland, GroBbritannien, Italien, Ungarn, Spanien und Kanada gegeben, und verfügt über bevorstehende Konzerte in der Kathedrale von Chartres, La Madeleine, Notre-Dame de Paris, Saint-Sulpice, die Kathedrale von Sevilla, der Palast der Künste in Budapest, Philharmonie Essen, Sumida Triphony Hall, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, unter anderem. Sie hat vor kurzem eine CD von Französisch des 20 Jahrhunderts Musik in der Kathedrale von Chartres aufgezeichnet. Neben ihrer umfangreichen Konzerttätigkeît ist sie derzeit ein Lehrer an der Ecole de Musique de Saint Lô in der Normandie, und dient als Organist an der St. Pierre und Saint André Kirchen in Caen.
